Spent a little time on the distributor. One problem was a broken
bushing in the advance section. That's it on the right with
the new "donor" on the left.
I used a rubber cap plug, cut to size...
Over, the tit...
With the very small circlip reinstalled...
[EDIT: I just noticed the clip opening should probably be facing out.]
Test fit into the slot...

All of the parts to a mechanical, vacuum advanced,
point operated distributor, cleaned up a bit...
I still need a new coil-point lead, a new cam grease wiper, a circular felt washer,
and three new point/cap screws to replace those mauled from regular use!
(In the baggie!)
I am still trying to figure out the best ignition system compromise for my engine...
